Last week’s introduction to Dream Dinners was fun and the Terriyaki Orange Chicken recipe I brought home and made for dinner Wednesday was a hit. I am going back Wednesday morning to do a full session and create 6 meals to bring home and freeze for cooking later on. I’ll keep you posted.
This week is a little crazy and will be Kid’s Choice week.
- Monday -Â Leftovers (kebabs, veggies, bread, apple pie)
- Tuesday - Pasta with chicken and broccoli
- Wednesday - Fast food night
- Thursday - Santa Fe Chicken Fajitas from Dream Dinners
- Friday -Â Make your own pizza - using tortillas or English Muffins
Have a great week! If you are looking for more meal planning ideas, go check out the list at I’m An Organizing Junkie.

It looks like the MyBlogLog issue has resolved itself so I am happy to say I can see all your faces in the sidebar again. Yeah! I missed you.
It has been an emotionally trying week for the nation as we try to come to terms with the events that have unfolded. Today is Hokie Hope day and the sun is finally shining again in Virginia. No joke. It has been gray, cold and gloomy all week and today the sun is out and it supposed to be warm. This in itself gives a sign that the healing process has begun. Add to the fact that Sunday is Earth Day - another reason to connect with the community and keep moving forward.
Here are a few posts that I have come across this week that I really enjoyed:
And some shameless self promotion! Here are some other posts from my other blogs that you might like:
Have a great weekend! Get out and enjoy the sun and celebrate the goodness that Mother Earth has given us.

I’m not sure what is going on with MyBlogLog, but I haven’t been able to access it all afternoon and it was really hurting the performance of all my blogs. Therefore, I have removed all the MyBlogLog code until it looks like things are back in action.
The nice part about MyBlogLog is being able to see some of your visitors, even if they don’t leave a comment.
I do miss seeing all your wonderful faces - so why not leave me a comment instead tonight!
Have a great evening.
April 19, 2007· Filed under Movies, Thursday Thirteen

I think everyone is in need of a little uplifting this week. For Thursday Thirteen I am sharing some of my favorite movie quotes. If you are wondering why they are all from kids movies, that would be because I have three kids and I hear these movies in the car, watch them with the kids in the playroom and don’t get to see nearly as many grown up movies. Besides, these are more fun!
- One should always be ready to listen to one’s children, even if they have nothing to say. (Chicken Little
)
- To infinity, and beyond! (Toy Story
)
- It depends on you…you have to make the right choices. (Meet the Robinsons
)
- Where there is a will there is a way, and I have a way. (Shrek
)
- Otis, a strong man stands up for himself, a stronger man stands up for others. (Barnyard
)
- We eat to live. These guys live to eat! (Over the Hedge
)
- Just smile and wave boys, smile and wave (Madagascar
)
- When life gets you down do you wanna know what you’ve gotta do? Keep swimming. Just keep swimming. (Finding Nemo
)
- I never look back, darling, it distracts from the now. (The Incredibles
)
- First rule of leadership: everything is your fault (A Bug’s Life
)
- This is my family. I found it, all on my own. Is little, and broken, but still good. Yeah, still good. (Stitch from Lilo & Stitch
)
- Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind. Or forgotten. (Lilo from Lilo & Stitch
)
- Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things… and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. (Walt Disney at the end of Meet the Robinsons)
By the way, which is your favorite? Or, what is your favorite inspirational quote from a movie?
