This is such a great video - I couldn’t help but to share it with all the Moms (and Dads will appreciate it too) out there. Anita Renfroe packs all the things we Moms say in a normal 24 hour day in to a musical 2 minute sketch.
October is Breast Cancer awareness month and in a show of support I have changed the look of Casual Keystrokes for the month - yep, it’s pink - very pink. (If you are reading this via RSS - come check it out.)
I am not alone, though. There are already some sites that have gone pink (Brian Gardner, Standards for Life) and if you are looking for inspiration and themes you can find some at:
If your site is going Pink for October, let us know! We’d love to see it.
What else can I do?
Come help raise funds for Stage IV Breast Cancer patients and survivors in the Gal to Gal Virtual Walk. It is very cool, and you can design your own gal or angel to walk from Boston to San Francisco during the month of October.
I’m walking - when you login you can find your friends - I’m Char P. If you join in, come find me.
We are about one month out from Halloween, two months away from Thanksgiving and have fewer than three months left to do our Christmas shopping! That means that September, who is leaving us this weekend, was the calm before the storm!
Speaking of holidays, look what showed up in my mail box this week - all at one time! Yikes!
So, are you ready? Are you a holiday planner or do they just creep up on you? Have your kids picked out their halloween costumes yet? Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Ah, the questions.
Grab your cup of coffee, tea or whatever and join us today. Comments are always open, but Casual Fridays are just more fun.
Laura at Work from Home Momma wrote a great reminder post this week about the importance of making time for family when you work from home. I know this is something I struggle with constantly. I began working from home so I could spend more time with my family, however, as my business has grown I definitely have days and sometimes weeks where business takes priority.
I’m registered for the Gal to Gal Virtual Walk scheduled to start on Monday, October 1. That’s me in the green and black jogging suit. If you have registered, come find me - Char P. and be sure to let me know you are in so we can walk together.
