We had an amazing response to the giveaway for the Barbie magazine and Hot Wheels magazine subscriptions. The lucky winners are:
- Cathie F. (Barbie)
- Kristen C. (Barbie)
- Mary Ann M. (Hot Wheels)
- Cindy P. (Hot Wheels)
If you didn’t win, you can still get your own subscription to either magazine for only $12.00 per year. And both magazines make great gifts (perfect for an Easter Basket, too)!
Thanks to all who entered! We have some more great giveaways lined up so check back often.

In years past St. Patrick’s Day has always been on March 17, but since March 17 is also part of the traditional Easter Holy Week this year, some are electing to celebrate it today or tomorrow. At Casual Friday, we are having our own St. Patrick’s Day party today!
Since my Grandparents live in Ireland, I have been there many times. It is one of my most favorite places in the world!! Let’s get in the mood with some of my favorite photos from our trip to Ireland in 2005 and 2006:

Kinsale Harbour (about 10 minutes from my Grandparent’s house)

St. Colman’s Cathedral in Cobh, Ireland (where the Titanic sailed from)

A view from the cottages at Oysterhaven Center (my favorite place to stay in Ireland)

Good old Fish and Chips from a great Irish restaurant in Inchydony.
And some more items for our party!
Get your jig on at JibJab and send your friends a custom St. Patrick’s greeting starring you!
St. Patrick’s Day Feast recipesÂ
St. Patrick’s Day Printables and Activities for the kidsÂ
Let’s get the party started! All you have to bring to the party is your St. Patty’s Day links, recipes, stories, activities and such today!!

Kris Abel of CTV.ca (a Canadian network) just published his list of 100 websites to help keep the kids busy during spring break or any other day for that matter. There are some really cool sites included in his list, many I have never seen before. My favorites from his list include:
- Build Your Wild Self - A really cute interactive site for creating your very own wild self put on by the New York Zoos and Aquarium. Give yourself a trunk, giraffe arms, peacock feathers and other really fun accessories.
- Hunkins Experiments - Got a budding scientist in the house? Experiments of all levels and interest areas.
- Virtual Chalkboard - Draw with your mouse on an online chalkboard - too much fun.
- Shoe Lacing Fun - Jazz up the kids laces with some really unique lacing styles.
There are 96 more fun sites to discover (he even included my Printables4Kids site on his list) - that’s sure to keep everyone busy, having fun and even doing a little learning, too.

Wendy from eMoms at Home is busy at the SxSW conference so she asked me to take over Monday Motivation at her site today. So, my normal Monday Motivation post there - and I’ll let you in on a little secret - I totally over committed myself this week! My list is big and bold, and there is a good chance that one of the commenters on the post is going to be getting something from me as a result. Go check it out and leave your Monday Motivation thoughts.

Happy Friday everyone! I’ve got a busy one ahead of me, but thought we could talk about Dream Jobs today. Afterall, we all must have one - TLC network seems to think so based on their new reality series, The Secret Life of a Soccer Mom.
So, if you could be whisked away (and know everything on the homefront was taken care of) to pursue a dream job for a week, a month, or forever, what would that dream job be?
Working from home is definitely a dream job for me, but there are days where I wish for something else - and then I remind myself, that there is plenty of time for that once the kids are grown. If I had to pick a dream job, it would be an elite level gymnastics judge. I do plan on pursuing that one more once the kids are older and it really is an attainable dream - that I can continue to do side by side with the work I already do from home.
Grab a cup of coffee (or tea if you please) and join the conversation. Let us know what your dream job is/would be. Tell us about your week. Have any good plans for the weekend? Everyone is welcome!
