I know the movie world is all abuzz this evening with the 79th Annual Academy Awards show coming up. I went to check out who was nominated for what and realized that I am a very sad case. Of all the movies nominated, whether for its main actor, actress or other stellar quality, I have only seen ONE. That’s right, ONE.

So, my vote for best (animated) picture of the year is Cars. How could you resist those googly eyes, subtle humor, and syrupy sweet story line?  Lightning McQueen and ‘Mater have such unique on screen chemistry!  I wonder what they’ll wear to the show tonight???
