Black Friday - Will You Shop?

I have never been one to face the Black Friday shopping frenzy head on and this year will be no different. If there are some great deals to be had, I am more likely to log on to my trusty computer, coffee in one hand and a mouse in the other and do my shopping that way.

I know that some people love the rush and thrill of Black Friday shopping, but I am just not into crowds. After hearing the stories of lines, violence and heartbreak over the release of PS3, TMX Elmo and others, I am just not doing it.  There is nothing on my holiday gift list that will sell out on Friday and if it does, then no big deal.

This post is part of a Blog Carnival that is being hosted by Holiday Mom on Friday. Check it out and see what everyone else thinks of Black Friday!

I like the coffee in one hand and mouse in the other idea too.

This is the first in 5 years I’ve not gone shopping for Black Friday. Though I am missing my Cracker Barrel breakfast this morning :(

I skipped the black friday shopping, kind of. I went out and ate Golden Corral, figured with three kids and being pregnant it wasn’t wise, however GC wasn’t packed at all. Woo hoo! After we ate we headed to one store got a bunch of presents for kids, i went outside with kids after telling hubby everything I wanted and made the kids look down once he came outside. lol. Perfect way to shop and I didn’t have to wait in any lines, instead I read the paper and kids did too.

I do love the fact I can do most of my shopping online though thsi year. I love my paypal card.

No way to Black Friday…I’m black enough! :-p

Seriously…the rabid sales feeding frenzy is just insanity. Sadly, the real meaning of Christmas has been lost in the sea of materialism.
