Now I would be delusional to think that we have seen the last of winter, but let me just bask in some wishful thinking. After the deep freeze we have been in for the past few weeks, I am so happy to say that not only will the kids go back to school today (after being off almost a week), but the temperature is supposed to go up to a balmy 45 degrees today. And by Thursday, we could see 62! And it’s a good thing too, my furnace could use a break.

I am really looking forward to the end of the week. My Mom, two of best friends and I  are going to the Maymont Flower and Garden Show. It will be such a nice break to spend the whole day in the company of grownups and getting inspired for spring planting. Bring on the sun!  I’ll take plenty of pictures to share.
