It has to be said: those are just gorgeous. I can think of lots of little girls I know who’d like those (and a few big girls!)

  pickel wrote @ November 2nd, 2007 at 9:27 am

Those are super cute.
No sugar coma here. I’m trying to diet. I’m not very successful thought!

Gayla McCord wrote @ November 2nd, 2007 at 9:41 am

Those are adorable!

No coma here really – the kids just aren’t that into candy anymore. Thank goodness. Now if I could just get them to kick the soda cravings.

We spent our Halloween evening watching Ghost Hunters. We’re so addicted to TAPS it’s almost criminal.

Ever seen it? Wednesday nights – they’re actual ghost hunters. Creepy stuff.

  Char wrote @ November 2nd, 2007 at 9:54 am

Lucy – We got a spring clip with a ladybug and a black and white one that goes with everything. My girls argue over who gets which.

Pickel – I have been better than in years past, but like you, I am trying to diet and just not winning that one.

Gayla – I have never heard of that show. The last thing I watched was a hockey game on TV.

  homemom3 wrote @ November 2nd, 2007 at 9:56 am

I’m skipping the rest of the holidays this year, don’t want to think of them. But for your question, will probably be eating out on Thanksgiving.

Would love to win those bows, I have a girl with thin and the other with thick hair.

Movies this week? Captivity and That wedding one (looks like they are gay) and I can’t remember the name.

  pinks & blues girls wrote @ November 2nd, 2007 at 9:57 am

I only had a little bit of candy on Halloween… I have an aversion to wrappers (I know, I am very strange) so that helps me not overeat candy! (Too bad I have no aversion to ice cream containers!!) Right now I’m shifting into birthday mode… my birthday is November 4th and my husband and I are going to Boston for the night on Saturday. Then after that I’ll be in full holiday mode – Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love this time of year!

  Char wrote @ November 2nd, 2007 at 10:02 am

Homemom3 – no movies here this week although I am thinking about taking the kids to see Bee movie on Tuesday when they have no school (teacher workday/election day).

Jane – Happy Happy Birthday!! My parents’ wedding anniversary is Sunday, too. I have never been to Boston, but it is on my “to-see” list.

  Jeri wrote @ November 2nd, 2007 at 10:22 am

How adorable! Jenna will have to buy a new outfit if we win this prize!

Linda Ellis wrote @ November 2nd, 2007 at 11:32 am

Every girl should have some hair accessories as cute as these.

  Heather G wrote @ November 2nd, 2007 at 11:37 am

Thanks for the chance!!

I am really looking forward to Christmas. I have lots of my shopping done already!!

Wendy Piersall wrote @ November 2nd, 2007 at 11:45 am

When they gave away some of these on Parent Product Reviews, I liked them so much I bought some early for my daughters for stocking stuffers. They are just as cute in real life as they are in the pics!

As for the holidays, I’m both dreading them and really looking forward to them. You know what my house looks like (read :: piles of dishes!!) – during November and December I get a little Martha Stewart in me and I clean, decorate, and I love being in my home… but then January hits and I’m back to being a case study for the Mission: Organization TV show! ;)

  Char wrote @ November 2nd, 2007 at 11:50 am

Wendy – I have no Martha in me at all anymore – I like the holidays and love how the house looks decorated, but it is so much work.

Rebecca Peters wrote @ November 2nd, 2007 at 11:51 am

Brown Baron wrote @ November 2nd, 2007 at 12:31 pm

My 3 kids are already talking about Christmas and what they want. I’ve managed to convince them to limit their list to 10 possible choices. I’ve also told them I would be monitoring their behavior until the holidays. They’re angels now haha.

  Julie wrote @ November 2nd, 2007 at 12:32 pm

I absolutely love those! My daughter would wear them proudly.

I am glad Halloween is over and I am so ready for the candy to be long gone. I’m pretty sure if I hear the words “Can I have one more piece of candy?” I am going to scream.

I am getting very excited about the upcoming holidays. Being former military people, we haven’t spent many holidays with family. Well for Thanskgiving, my parents are coming to Georgia and for Christmas we are taking a road trip to Colorado where my husband’s entire family is all meeting. We are coming from all over the US and even over seas: Albania, Washington, Colorado, Georgia…We are SO excited!!!

Okay one christmas item down, we picked up a CD player (walkman thing) for BalletGirl, now to get her a hannah montana CD. :) SHhhh!

Mother Earthbeats wrote @ November 2nd, 2007 at 2:02 pm

Oopsie Daizies.. these are so sweet Char! :)

LOL My girls would love them, and I just absolutely need to know
where to get them.

Halloween was sooo much fun… I helped my daughter evolve into a
gypsy, with all the scarves and jewelry any fortune telling wanderer
could want, and it went over really well. We wandered the town and
visited the local mall to mingle with all the other wonderful little
fairy tale creatures and scary monsters.

We are spending Thanksgiving with a dear friend of mine who lost
her husband right before Christmas last year. She does not wish to
be alone, so I am bringing my entire family to brighten her house
with warmth, laughter and Love.

I just love this time of the year! It has been sunny here in Oregon
and all the Autumn colors, combined with a fresh little breeze,
serve to bring such energy and freshness. What joy it is to prepare
for the cold season… ;)

Enjoy!

These are so cute. I care for a 3 year old with extemely long, thick hair. We could have a blast with these.

As far as Halloween goes, it was a lot of fun. 3 was Sleeping Beauty and a friend of hers was a Hanukkah present. They got lots of candy but almost all still here.

AS far as the week goes, was going great until last night. I smacked my little toe on the treadmill. OUCH. This morning, she fell down the stairs and then spilled milk all ove rthe floor. TGIF.

Being a mom of 2 boys, I can totally appreciate these “girly” clips! You see, I feed my need to buy pink on my godchild who is 4. Adeline is such a girl, and when it comes to her hair – she LOVES getting it all fixed up and would wear 5 different barrettes if we would let her.

  A. Ashley wrote @ November 3rd, 2007 at 4:23 pm

Love the hair clips. Those would look so cool on my daughter afro puffs.
On Halloween here, it rained sideways. It’s hurricane season.
So we sat in the dark watching Dexter and eating candy while the wind howled outside.
My birthday’s on Monday and the best part about birthdays is when
people tell me “No way are you 32! You don’t look old enough to have a 9 year old.”
All my years of avoiding the sun and staying up late at night watching anime- not smoking, have finally paid off. (evil laugh)
