Merry Christmas a few days early everyone! As you can tell my the amount I have posted here this week, I have been a bit busy. Well, actually I had my youngest home for a solid week with the ickiest cold ever. Luckily she is back to health and at school today. Between that and getting ready for the holidays it has been crazy.
Today I want to take a few moments and thank all of my Casual Friday buddies for stopping in every Friday (more or less). I really look forward to Fridays - especially for the conversation!
So, how is your holiday preparation coming along? Shopping done? Wrapping done? Baking done? I’m basically done shopping, half way done wrapping and have done no baking yet (and may not do any).
Stop in anytime and join the conversation! Bring a link to your favorite holiday post while you are at it!

I am pretty much done with the shopping. I have to find one more DVD and all will be well. Hubby and I have done almost all of the wrapping and I’ve done so much baking that my waist has expanded two whole sizes. LOL I bake mostly cookies. heehee.
My favorite holiday post would be about my hatred for the political correctness that some seem to deem necessary at Christmas time. It is about Jesus Christ no matter how you slice it and I like to wish people a Merry Christmas and not just season’s greetings or happy holidays.

Char and everyone we have began our journey, we left the base today adn tomorrow we will officially be out of the military. Wish us luck and keep us in your thoughts. We are driving and will be for the next two weeks. As far as xmas goes we will be hitting stores when we get to MO, which should be in a day or two. Santa is getting store bought cookies this year.
Did you all read about the Secret Santa? He’s going around passing out 100 dollar bills. So if someone gives you some money it is legit. I’ll be blogging more on thisl.
I just love this season. I’ll bring a link later. (((HUGS to everyone)))

MyStarbucks - Thanks for doing my baking for me - I just haven’t really gotten that far this year!
Eliza - you are definitely in our thoughts! You have a big journey ahead of you and I really hope things settle down for you soon. Being in a state of limbo is so stressful especially at this time of year.
Glad everyone is back to healthy Char.
I’ll be looking forward to the links everyone is bringing
Eliza, have a safe journey. I’ll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers for a safe trip and a memorable Christmas for the kiddos.

well we are almost in Virginia.
Woo hoo. I read your 10 ways Char and have done just about all of them. I’ll have to write one up myself after this trip.
Very good tips though. I think they might get some Disney Sticks (mp3). I hope your kids feel better soon, I have two that are sick.
UGH! I’m navigating and hubby just made me think I got us lost. lol
