Confessions of a Work At Home Mom

Eve’s Confessions of an Everyday Housewife is hosting one of the blog carnivals for the MomGadget forum this week and has challenged us all to confess.

Being a work at home mom is not always an easy task, but it’s also not one I’d give up either! So here are a few of my confessions for the week:

  • I am more concerned about cleaning up comment spam than I am about cleaning up after the kids.
  • Blogging is better than baking.
  • Designing web sites is best done in jammies and with a cup of coffee in hand.
  • Doing laundry and taking a conference call can be done simultaneously.
  • I would rather participate in Liz’s Open Mic night than watch TV on a Tuesday night.
  • Just because I am home all day does not mean I had time to cook a meal.

The list could go on, because honestly, I did not get the domestication gene. So confess and join our carnival – just be sure to let Eve know.

Char!
That is the coolest link love! Wow! Everyone on Tuesday Comment night is gonna hear about that! I’m just grinning to think you said that out loud. :)

[...] Char writes up a great post on her confessions (I have to say I agree with all of them!) [...]

LOL I can relate to Everything you said! Though I do have to check out the open mic night. Never been there. Of course DH doesn’t like me being on the puter after 5 :(

Liz – you know, Open Mic night is just a great way to meet new bloggers and get a different perspective on the ones you know!

Gayla – you have to sneak in on one – they are fun.

Sounds very much like me, house isn’t done but my email is and all that trash in my inbox and I found out I can multitask…answer cell and do one load in the wash and another in the dryer. Now for the rest of the house.
