Today is the last day of school for my kids and while one part of me dreads it, the other part is kind of looking forward to summer vacation! Last year I published our summer chore chart and it has been a big hit, not only with my kids, but it seems a lot of you have been looking for one, too!
I have revised the chart this year and created it in the more download friendly Microsoft Word format if you want to customize it for your family.

I will update the chart weekly. The chart has each child’s picture, a rotating job of the week (one that has to be done daily), and one major chore each week day - with one “free” day each week. The rule will be that before friends can come over or we leave for an outing, these things must be done. None of the chores should take more than 10 minutes anyhow.

Effective not just for kids, equally usefully for adults who don’t like household chores
Ainsley had this same idea this week. She wants money. But, yours looks awfully more professional as my daughter wrote her own with a black Sharpy on reg. computer paper.

really nice and creative idea actually i am getting inspired by this. a great way to make a ood repo across your readers. make them day or weekly plans they’ll always love this because making plans for your own self is always a little tricky jb.
This is fantastic. I’ve only just stumbled upon and can’t wait to put my two lovely darlings pictures on it. I’m sure they will love it too.
Thanks so much,
Janine

Thanks for this wonderful chore chart! I have been looking for something simple to use with my two girls and this fits the bill. The pictures make it easy to see who does what.
