Cyber-Monday - My Inbox Is Overflowing With Deals

It’s Monday, Cyber Monday that is. Shoppers are returning to their offices (and for many their high speed internet access), kids are returning to school (did I hear an applause from all the moms) and it is beginning to feel a bit like Christmas.  Today is expected to be the busiest on-line shopping day of the season and it is my kind of day!

I’m not one to fight crowds, stand in line or get all worked up about the must have toys. Me, I like the ease and comfort of shopping from my office - a mouse in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. The deals have been coming into my inbox from all my favorites, courting me and my Visa, luring me to their sites with great bargains and offers of free shipping - ahhh, technology - I love it!

So, I will share with you some deals that I have found and intend on taking advantage of (some of these are affiliate links and some are not):

  • My daughter needs some items to go with her room decor - Bombay Kids has a $20 off $100 code (WBWRM6AZ)
  • Amazon always has great deals on the hottest toys, gifts, and such, not to mention FREE SHIPPING.
  • Etoys is advertising 60% off deals for Cyber Monday.
  • Coldwater Creek has a $25 off $100 deal going now (code is FROSTY)
  • If you have little ones, don’t forget Personalized Letters from Santa

I’ll add more deals as I find them, but in the meantime, Happy Shopping!

Essential Keystrokes » Cyber Monday - Is It Real or Hype? wrote @ November 27th, 2006 at 4:52 pm

[…] The National Retail Federation even set up a site specifically for Cyber Monday and based on the flurry of emails (okay, call it an avalanche) in my inbox today advertising Cyber Monday deals, retailers are hoping for big sales numbers today. But is this real or just more marketing hype from retailers trying to secure holiday sales early? News.com has a great article today and they seem to think that Cyber Monday is more of a myth than reality. […]

Did you get a lot of shopping done? I didn’t because my crazy computer kept going too slow. I did get some done though. :)

I had to do my online shopping extra early to make sure it got here in time. I was able to get deals by pulling cards out the November and December issues of my favorite chick magazines. The cards had free shipping codes and discounts. Eddie Bauer has a deal going–15 percent off plus free shipping. DOPRAH is the promotion code.

Yesterday E, who picks up the mail at the military post office, violated my strict “don’t bring the packages inside the house” rule and the kids saw the boxes before I got them stashed.

Eliza - there ended up being too many distractions and a child who was under the weather for me to get much done. I did get a good start on making lists of what I need though.

V - Using codes is the only way to go!

This year I did the majority of my shopping at play.com as its free shipping.
But I also came across this site http://www.retailmenot.com it allows you to find promotion codes that other people have put into the database :D.
