Giveaway #2 - Emily Rose Doll Clothes Gift Certificate

Featured on 5 Minutes for MomIt’s time for another giveaway! As I announced in my Wordless Wednesday post, American Girl debuted two new dolls this week. Julie, Ivy and their stories are set in the 1970s - which means they are from the era that most of us are from. Lisa from Emily Rose Doll Clothes has offered to sponsor our next giveaway - a $25 gift certificate to her store, which is full of beautiful outfits, furniture and accessories for American Girl dolls and other 18″ dolls.

Here are two outfits that would be perfect for Julie:

Emily Rose Doll Clothes Emily Rose Doll Clothes Poncho Outfit

Anyhow, the winner of the gift certificate can use it for anything in the Emily Rose Doll Clothes store. If you have a daughter, grandaughter or niece, she will love all of the outfits and doll goodies at Emily Rose. Or you can think about it as a way to jump start your Christmas shopping.

You know the drill. Enter by leaving a comment on this post. That will give you one entry. If you have a blog of your own, post about the giveaway with a link to this post and the Emily Rose Doll Clothes site or to her new blog, Raising an American Girl (customized by yours truly) for a bonus entry. And if you are really doll crazy, link to my Doll Diaries site, too for another bonus entry.

The deadline for entries is Tuesday, September 18 at 12 midnight. A winner will be selected at random and announced here on Wednesday, September 19.

Love the Year!!! (1970, the year our son, who is the Father to our beautiful Grand-daughter was born) .

Adrianna loves her American Girl and Bitty Baby dolls, and I enjoy looking, and choosing all the different clothes that she would like Grandma to buy for the dolls.

Back when her Daddy was born they didn’t even have as much variety for baby and Toddler clothes. Now, 37 years later it FUN looking at the BIG variety of the doll clothes and the good prices on the clothes, etc.

I really enjoy doing this with Adrianna, and I know that she enjoys it, also. Especially, when she receives the products.

It’s so nice to have a place where you can find clothes for the new American Girls and all 18″ & other size dolls.

  Alex wrote @ September 14th, 2007 at 7:54 pm

How great! I love all the Emily-Rose clothes…SO much better than overpriced AG clothes. I love the idea of Julie…I am an “oldies” as they call it (although I don’t think it’s that old) freak. 50’s-70’s are my thing. I can’t help but hope that I win. I’ve been dying to buy some emily-rose stuff for my new AG doll since before I even got her! I vowed not to waste money on overpriced doll clothes but still to have the hippest, grooviest doll around, so before I got her, I found the best place to by doll clothes, and, by far, Emily-Rose is it!!! Unfortunately, all my money went to her, so I can’t buy anything for a while =-( Oh, well. Can’t wait to see results! Keep up the AWESOME clothes at those AWESOME prices!!! *****ALEX*****

Hi. My name is Leanna. I am a 12 year-old girl from New Jersey. I really want to win the gift card because I am getting Nicki the AG doll in October so it would be great to get a bed or some things for my Nicki doll at low price. I really would like to win so please sign me up. My dad just started work a couple weeks ago so we are a little behind. It would be great if I won. My birthday was last month and we still haven’t celabrated it yet. It would be a GREAT b-day surprise. Thanks for taking time on listening. : )

I was so excited to find the Emily Rose site. I have 4 daughters. They love AG dolls, even my college aged daughter! (she is the hippest one!) My 15 year old is very interested in the 70’s era but I don’t think she would give up her beloved Felicity, even for that cute Julie! My 9 year old loves Julie and her cool clothes and thinks her Kit would look cute in them! Anyway, have enjoyed your blog and look forward to ordering from Emily Rose, even if we don’t win!!

Bridget Cravero wrote @ September 15th, 2007 at 2:01 pm

My neighbor and I LOVE this site. I’m afraid we’ve gone over the edge and are more excited than even the girls are when the latest outfits come out! It’s so much fun! Great job on the site AND the affordable & adorable clothes!

  Carol wrote @ September 15th, 2007 at 6:00 pm

I think Emily Rose has some wonderful outfits for the American Girl dolls

  christy wrote @ September 15th, 2007 at 9:39 pm

Those outfits are fabulous! My favorite is the one with the poncho. Emily Rose is a great website, I feel fortunate to find it. It is nice to find a quality clothes site for the dolls without sacrificing quality. My daughter likes it because she has different clothes for her dolls than her friends. We have ordered a pick of the week before and some additional accessories for the doll. We were very pleased with the black party dress, a great deal for $12!! Another favorite is the leopard print flats, they fit the dolls feet perfectly! I had started sewing clothes for the dolls due to affordability of the site, I can’t make them this cheap.

So this stay at home mom is crossing her fingers to win!!
Daughters 10 and 3

Thanks again!
Christy
