Happy Halloween! While I am still preparing for the sugar high that I will be on by 9 pm, I thought I’d share some Halloween fun with you.
Let’s start with confessions! Raise your hand if:
- You have opened (and eaten) some of the candy intended for tonight’s Trick-or-Treating already. (hand raised)
- You will swipe, I mean inspect, some of your kids’ favorite candy this evening. (and again)
- Give more candy to the cute little angels, superheroes, and pirates than to the over 12′s with last minute costumes and pillowcases. (hand held high)
I will be trick or treating through the Blogosphere today. As I find fun stops along the way, I will come back and post them here.

You’re so funny!
My kids and I are actually participating in something very different this year. Several local Churches put on a “Trunk or Treat” which is where everyone gathers around the town circle and passes out candy from their car trunks.
The town hall is going to be set up with Hot Chocolate and Hot Dogs and will host a little parade of sorts.
I’ll let you know after I finish out the evening how my passing out candy goes 
So far I’ve made 130 sugar cookies and only ate TWO

That sounds like fun!! I wish they would do that here. We are going to a friend’s neighborhood because we are the only house on our street with kids.

I confess to #1 and #2. I like when teens where good costumes. Once I had a guy show up at my door dressed like female punk rocker. Too cool.
Didn’t know about the doll blog. Char, you’re taking the blogosphere by storm. I’d like to nominate Coconut for best costume.

Thanks V. I now have 4 blogs and one more in the works and then I think I am maxed out!!!! I have to focus on the other part of my business too.
Okay, I might reward a well dressed, big kid, but not the ones who are obviously in it just for the candy.

i’m so bad with having it at my house, and while passing it out last night I kept eating it. lol. Well doc said I didn’t gain much weight yet so guess I can go for a few candies. Right?
