Remember typing classes in high school? Now you can test your keyboard speed skills for fun - no grades. At JPhantom you click in the text box and a random quote of text appears. You type as fast as you can but must correct mistakes immediately.
Are you game? Here’s the link.
I got 268.8 cpm with 3 mistakes. What did you get?

Nothing happened after I typed the selection. It just sat there. And sat there. I couldn’t figure out how it was supposed to give me my score. It wasn’t really a fair thing though, typing the Gettysburg address where I still have it memorized from back in fifth grade. It made it a bit easier than it otherwise would have been I think.

Okay, I figured out you couldn’t leave the mistakes. D’uh. But 482 isn’t too bad (two mistakes).
