In A Former Life, I Must Have Been…

While chatting with an online pal at MomGadget, animals and our former lives came up. We decided it was a great topic for a BlogCarnival.  So step up to the ticket booth and come on in to our carnival.

Image property of Essentialkeystrokes.com - do not copyStarting with me.  I am convinced that in a former life I must have been a cat. I am extremely independent (sometimes to a fault) and often come off to those who don’t know me as being very aloof.  When it comes to affection, like a cat, it must be on my terms!  I am very loyal to those who treat me well and I have been known to take giant leaps of faith (burning up a few lives in the process).

Grab your virtual cotton candy (no calories) and let’s see who else is at the carnival:

It’s not too late to join our Carnival! Post a comment with a link to your own post on which animal you were in a previous life and I’ll give you a virtual “booth” in our carnival.

Wow, you’ve done a great job! I’ll see if I can’t drum up a few more for you.

I joined in. :) I love the cat picture, with the witchy top hat. Very cool.

There were too many animals that I like. I was going to pick a cat too. I picked something else that is sort of like a cat. :)

I’m thinking dolphin because of their playfulness, love of water and intellect. They are so much fun to watch as they enjoy each other, people, boats, and taking some risks while swimming in front of the boat’s bow or in the wake. I had the pleasure of swimming with dolphins on a few occasions in the open waters and in captivity and loved every minute of it.

Hi.

Thank you for coming up with such an interesting blog carnival topic. I must admit it took me a long time to come up with my answer but the process of thinking it through and getting in touch with my inner self was precious.

Thanks again and I’m glad to have discovered Casual Keystrokes today.

Best regards,

Maia
