While chatting with an online pal at MomGadget, animals and our former lives came up. We decided it was a great topic for a BlogCarnival. So step up to the ticket booth and come on in to our carnival.
Starting with me. I am convinced that in a former life I must have been a cat. I am extremely independent (sometimes to a fault) and often come off to those who don’t know me as being very aloof. When it comes to affection, like a cat, it must be on my terms! I am very loyal to those who treat me well and I have been known to take giant leaps of faith (burning up a few lives in the process).
Grab your virtual cotton candy (no calories) and let’s see who else is at the carnival:
- Katelyn at Stamping Mad figures she was a squirrel based on how she collects and uses her stamping supplies.
- Gayla at Gayla’s Place can’t go to the grocery store alone so she figures she must have been a dog who works in a pack.
- Homemom3 at I’m not just a Mom…I’m a Home Mom makes a case for more than one animal in her post, but in the end, she determines she must have been a bear.
- Another cat lover, Kimberly at English and Grammar Rules, is feeling territorial this morning!
- Gosh, I love penguins!! Kathleen at TopsyCurvy, has some great insight into the personalities of penguins and why she must have been one!
- We have another momma bear. Delphine at L.I.F.E.S.A.L.A.D can relate to the hibernation, dietary and caregiving qualities of a mother bear. Can’t we all!
- Pixel Faerie at Faerie Duir shows her stripes with her post called The Animal Inside. After seeing Over the Hedge, I can totally relate.
- My dear friend Gail at Energize Me has decided to join us! She writes about the stress-relieving qualities our animal friends exhibit and why she thinks she was a dolphin.
- Joining us from Blue Meanderings, Maia has a very insightful post as to why she think she was a bird in a previous life.
It’s not too late to join our Carnival! Post a comment with a link to your own post on which animal you were in a previous life and I’ll give you a virtual “booth” in our carnival.
