Let’s just say that last week flew by and I was caught off guard by Menu Plan Monday this morning. Thanks to my ongoing master list of things my family likes, it wasn’t too hard to pull a menu together this week.
- Monday - Chili in the slow cooker, egg noodles (for 2 picky girls) and salad
- Tuesday - Out (as always)
- Wednesday - Chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, and green beans
- Thursday - Tacos, refried beans, and Spanish rice
- Friday - Pizza

The master list technique really makes life easier and there is a lot less repetition.

I’ve just started this type of thing myself. However, on Sundays I do a big roast and use the leftovers to make other meals during the week (at least two). For example, we had chicken this weekend, so I’ll be making chicken enchiladas and a curry chicken this week. It does save some $$ too.
