Menu Plan Monday - June 4

monday-menu-3.jpg

Today is the last full day of school for my kids and then they have half days until Thursday. It is going to be a pretty busy week, but a little planning and we will make it through with no problem.Do any of you get the magazine from Kraft Foods called Food & Family? If not, I’m pretty sure it is still a free subscription that comes 4 times a year. It always has plenty of fun recipe ideas - many that the kids can help with. I also plan on keeping plenty of simple mixes - like blueberry muffins - in my pantry this summer. My 8 year old LOVES to cook and making a batch of muffins is more enticing to her than playing with toys much of the time.

Head on over to I’m an Organizing Junkie to find more menu ideas for the week.

Hi Char

We had chicken, broccoli and rice tonight (and pumpkin and mushrooms).

I like how you got your kids involved with the chores - cool!

Have a great, un-busy week.

Marcia
