It looks like another busy week on the fringe of suburbia! Dinners have to be quick and easy because we only have one afternoon/evening this week that is not scheduled with something.
- Monday – Penne pasta with chicken and vegetables alfredo
- Tuesday – Hot dogs and hamburgers at school for History Night
- Wednesday – Shredded pork BBQ in the slow cooker with cole slaw and baked beans
- Thursday – Terriyaki Orange Chicken, rice and snow peas
- Friday – most likely fast food since we will be at the gym all evening
What’s on your menu this week? For more ideas, check out I’m an Organizing Junkie’s site for links to other menus.

Oooh can I come over on Wednesday? My children hate to eat from my slow cooker, they think everything is poisoned that comes from it. I’m serious they do, stop laughing. We do fast food nights on fridays, that or CiCi’s Pizza. Saturday mornings we try to do Golden Corral.

Mmm…Slow Cooking BBQ sounds delicious. I’ve been thinking of adding this one to our menu plan. I finally found a diabetic approved recipe for it. Perhaps I’ll add it to next week’s plan. Thanks for the suggetion.
Have a Happy Mother’s Day.

Cheeseburger Sloppy Joes – 2 lbs Hamburger borwned with 1 envelope of dry onion soup mix. Drain fat and add 1 jar Ragu Cheddar Cheese Sauce. Very easy and my boys love it.

Thanks for stopping in everyone! Maggie – I’ll have to test that recipe.
You organize what you are having the whole week? whoa!!!!
how do you make your Terriyaki Orange Chicken? My dad has been trying to figure that out for the last few weeks.. send me an email of the recipe.

Nick – with three kids who do sports and afterschool activities, if I don’t plan the entire week, we end up going through the drive through way too much. Planning a whole week at a time saves big bucks on groceries for 5!
I’ll email you the recipe later today – off to take the youngest to preschool.
Can’t I just use your menu’s?!?!? They look good. Unfortunately this month, we are doing the “clearing out the pantry & freezer”, so our meals are looking pretty interesting!
