I meant to post this yesterday, but for some reason I was so tired that I went to bed with the kids at 9:30 - that never happens! Here are a few links that are definitely worth visiting this week.
And now a question for you? Would you like to be a guest blogger? As most of you know, I have a bit of a blogging habit and manage more than one blog. I just can’t help myself. Anyhow, there are plenty of opportunities to be a guest blogger at any of my sites - at any time in the future. All you have to do is leave me a comment (or send me an email) and let me know where you’d like to be a guest. I have listed my blogs and some ideas below.
- Essential Keystrokes - Do you have a list of favorite web tools for online success? Or do you have a tech question you would like me to answer?
- Casual Keystrokes - Share your work from home story or life balance tips.
- Sports Girls Play - Does your daughter play a sport? I’d love to get your take on the sport from a parent’s perspective.
- Doll Diaries - I am always looking for pictures of American Girl Dolls, Barbie, MyTwinn, and other collectible dolls. Have you been to American Girl Place? Or any other doll adventures? Feel free to share!
- Raising A Healthy Family - This is a BRAND new blog. Do you have a child with a special health issue? Do you have any tips for staying fit as a family? This one is pretty wide open right now. Even if you aren’t interested in guest blogging, stop over and take a look - I’ve love to know what you think of it.
Have a wonderful week everyone as we say good-bye to the busiest month I have survived this year!

Thank you for the linky love, boy was that a fun experience…next time I’m going to make sure to have plenty of sleep the night before and make sure the family isn’t planning on going out all day the day it ends.
Hmm, that Doll Diaries sounds like something I can write a post on for ya.
I still have that one doll I told ya about.

I was coming over to thank you for posting about Shared Answers, but I see that Yvonne got here first.

Char,
Thank you for including DevDad in your post. We definitely had a great time at the baseball game! As for guest blogging, I’d love to do some guest entries on Casual/Essential Keystrokes. Feel free to shoot me an e-mail if you’d like to discuss it!
- Mike
I’d also love to guest blog for you Char. I do some have tech questions I could fire your way if you’re looking for a blog post topic to write on. I will give it all some thought.

Eliza - I’d love to spotlight your dolls!
DevDad - I’ll send you a note - you’d be a great guest at either blog.
Yvonne - just send any questions as you think of them.
All guest bloggers will get to link to their own sites and have a byline - it’s a great way to share your talents with a slightly different audience.
I came across your blogs recently. I would be interested in guest blogging. I have a blog and podcast of my own at http://www.thelinguist.blogs.com.
I am a 61 year old grandfather who is still active in my main business, which is exporting lumber. However, over the last five years a second career has just taken over my life. I am busier than ever. This business is an online language learning system which reflects my own interest in languages ( I speak 10) and the fun of working with my son Mark who is the key designer of the system. I even have my 8 year old grandson testing our system for learning French.
I am on the computer at 7.00 am reviewing the blogs that I follow, and posting on my own. Then I check my email, and reviewing our site’s analytics. At 8.00 I may have a lesson on Skype with English learners from Japan, Poland, Spain and Turkey. At nine I have a leisurely breakfast with my wife before she goes off to golf leaving me with the dishes because now she is late.
Then I consult by phone with my son on why we our development deadlines are sliding, talk with our sawmill in Alberta and our lumber sellers, and try to fit a run in before lunch. Then I am off to the office to make sure I see everyone there, and of course I take my computer with me and continue whatever I was working on and do some telephoning.
In the evening, after a pleasant gourmet dinner prepared with great care and creativity by my wife., and after I clean up, I try to get in an hour or so studying Russian, which is the language I am working on now. I have never been so busy, but I am enjoying every minute of it.
Not exactly casual strokes, but it does describe how I balance or do not balance home and work. I also manage to find time to play golf, old-timers’ hockey and ski, as well as enjoy five grandchildren.
Great ressource, I just found it via Google´s Blogsearch and just read through your linked blogs. Some more great places, I just subscribed to. Thank you so much.
