I am having flashbacks to summer right now! The kids are off school today and tomorrow thanks to Teacher Workdays/Election Day. While I am happy that I did not have to get everyone up at the crack of dawn and rush around until 8:15 getting all three kids to school, I am also wondering how much work I am actually going to accomplish this week.
Once I make it through Monday and Tuesday, my time will still be limited as I have meetings of some sort every day this week. I am going to have to be ultra productive during the time I am in the office, which means setting priorities.
The most important things I need to do this week are:
- Finish a web site for a client - it’s so close to being done - and schedule a meeting with her to review.
- Layout the program for our gym’s first competition of the season and get it to the printers by Wednesday.
- Redesign this site - while I love the Pink for October header that I created, it is time for something new.
On a personal front, I need to:
- Make a large crock-pot of chili and some rice for a get together Friday night.
- Drink more water. No Diet Coke or sodas for me this week as I am trying to eliminate them completely.
- Ride the stationary bike 3 times this week.
With careful planning and setting goals, you would be amazed at how much you can really get done when you think you are pressed for time! What are your goals this week? Leave them in the comments or post on your own site and let’s get it done!

Thanks for the link, Char! I also have a category for Monday Motivation if you want to link there instead of directly to today’s post: http://www.wahwebmommy.com/?cat=20
Maybe I should add “Fix Permalinks” to my list for the week, lol. I’ve been having major problems with it (possibly a server configuration setting, as a few of us have similar specs and the same problem). I’m hoping an upgrade to WordPress 2.3.1 will do the trick. Hmmm… and why isn’t that on my list for the week, lol.
GL getting everything done this week, esp with the kids at home. I know how challenging that is!

I will change the link. I highly recommend you change your link structure as well - you will be pleasantly surprised by the SEO benefits. I will email you the structure that seems to be most popular right now.
Thanks, Char! I got your email. I was going to do date and name based. I agree your structure is probably best for SEO… although I wonder what if you have more than one post with the same title?
Right now when I change to permalinks, it doesn’t update the htaccess file (or if I change it manually, it still has no effect) - I get error messages no matter what I do. So I’ve got the default links for now (which pretty much drive me nuts, lol).
Ok, you’ve made me want to get this taken care of already, lol. At the very least, I’ll be upgrading to 2.3.1 this week (and will be reallly hoping and praying that solves all my life problems, lol).
Wow…I think I love it…
Will try it next week…

Way to go on trying to cut out sodas, I actually succeeded at this. When I past my first week my goal became a month. It really is true about habits.
I’ll be rooting for ya.
Holy crap I didn’t even see your post before I titled my own today. That was CREEPY!

HomeMom3 - it is something I really need to do. I never used to drink soda and really don’t like it. It has just become a bad habit.
Wendy - that is beyond weird! It just goes to show that great minds think a like!!

Wow, our days sound so much alike. I actually had given up diet cokes for about 5 months and for no apparent reason, picked the nasty habit up again. Why did I do that? Ugh! Must drink more water.
