Monday Motivation - May 21

Monday MotivationWhat a weekend! The team of gymnasts I coach (ages 7-10) had their state championships this past weekend. It was the most nerve racking, exhausting, and rewarding weekend. Our team ended up in 4th place out of 23 teams - a heartbreaking mere .3 out of 2nd place, but a super strong finish nonetheless.

So, it is Monday and I have another week of endless possibilities ahead of me. I am joining Wendy from eMoms at Home in putting my to-do list or weekly goals out there for the whole world to read. My leverage this week is also a positive one - get it all done, and enjoy a three-day weekend with the family. The key word is ENJOY. If I can start the weekend off knowing I accomplished my goals for the week, then I will be able to relax and have fun.

MY GOALS FOR THE WEEK

  1. Install and set up QuickBooks
  2. Complete at least one unfinished, major task each day
  3. Do two product reviews (these will appear at WearyParent)
  4. Spend 15 minutes each day de-cluttering one room of the house
  5. Walk at least 30 minutes three days this week
  6. Almost forgot one - list at least 5 lots of spring/summer girls clothes on eBay

How about you? What are you going to get accomplished this week? Feel free to post them in the comments here or at Wendy’s - or better yet, post them at your site for all the world to see. Accountability is such a powerful motivator.

Do you do pretty good selling the kids clothes on ebay?

We’re just getting into the eBay thing and I’m clueless on most of it. I just take the pictures LOL

Gayla - I have found that I can get very good prices for my kids clothes if I group them correctly. Also, I only list the things that are still in really great condition and are brand names. Everything else goes the way of the community emergency support thrift shop or is handed down to a friend.

I have not had anything up there in a long while so I have quite a bit to list.

Will you walk nordic style with fitness poles? This is a major fitness trend for some years now in Germany and I am about to try it myself.

Ingo - I don’t have any fitness poles. This morning I think I am going to spend 30 minutes pulling weeds and tending to my flower garden.

Char - Okay, that´s functional training.
