I can hear the the song across the land that many Moms are singing today - “Hi ho, hi ho, its off to school they go…” and in the back of their minds the to-do lists and urge to get organized after a free flowing summer is getting greater by the moment. If that applies to you, then you are in luck.
One year ago this month, I decided I needed another blogging outlet. I had been writing at my business blog but wanted to talk about non-techie stuff, thus Casual Keystrokes was launched. As part of my celebration, I have got some really cool giveaways lined up for this month. Giveaway #1 - MomAgenda Desktop Planner and Kitchen Folio
A few weeks ago I posted about my 5 Back to School Sanity Savers. One of my strategies is to use my MomAgenda desktop planner to keep everyone’s busy schedules in one place. I also shared my tips for creating a Go-To Resource book - which I have since found out fits really nice in MomAgenda’s Kitchen Folio. These two items have become essentials in my home office and I am happy to say that MomAgenda has offered to sponsor my first giveaway so one of my lucky readers can get a set, too.
The MomAgenda Desktop Planner is a beautifully bound planner that is nice enough to take on business meetings, but durable enough for daily usage. It comes in a variety of colors, too. The inside pages are filled with important information in a quick and easy to work with format. One section lets you keep track of dates and events a month at a time, then there is the section that lets you keep track of each family members activities and appointments a week at a time. There’s even room for what’s for dinner on the bottom of each page - which works well with Menu Plan Mondays. In the back there are pages for notes about a variety of topics like health (your nutrition plan), fitness (your exercise plan), vacation ideas, entertaining resources and more. And there is a removable MomEssentials workbook that acts as an address book, phone book and important dates organizer. Did I tell you this was designed by a Mother of 4? It was, and the detail involved reflects that Nina is one organized Mommy.
The Kitchen Folio is a bit bigger and works like my Go-To Resource book. The cover is a really nice pink and inside there are plastic sheet protectors built in with tabs so you can organize all your important lists. When I got my Kitchen Folio, I took all of the sections out of my 3-ring binder version of the Go-To Resource book and transferred them over to the Kitchen Folio. In addition the worksheets I created for my Go-To Resource book, MomAgenda has 6 additional pages you can print out from the site to help you get organized. The kids know to look in it for all the important phone numbers, school menus, project guidelines and other papers that we need to hang onto for school.
