I battled and battled with the K2 theme and just couldn’t get it to do what I wanted. I have had much more fun customizing this theme, but am not quite done. The big stuff is done, now I just need to add in all the bells and whistles.
So, what do you think?

Ingo - In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, more of my Ireland pictures will be coming out this week. Not to worry. How was your holiday? Glad to see you are back.
Tracy - Thanks for the kind words. You are always welcome here.

Eliza - how are you doing? The boat will be back - somehow. I just needed a change.

Ah, change is a good thing, as you can tell from my rotating templates! I like the gray-green colors and asian art vibe here.

And V - how was your weekend? Good, I hope. Yep, you have to make a change from time to time. I like the new template your blog is sporting.

This is very nice - I like this even better than the last one. I have a K2 theme on my randaclay.com blog and I found it very difficult to work with as well. I almost gave up working with it. This theme is really clean, and looks just perfect. Just a little comment… I do find the “life from my perspective” line in the header a bit difficult to read. What if you made it a bold font, and put a white outer glow around it, just to pop it off of that background?

Randa - thanks - I was thinking the same thing. Funny, it looked fine to me at 1 a.m., but now I have had my morning coffee, I think it needs a tweak.
K2 seemed like a big mess of code and I was tempted to strip it all out at one point, but I have had my eye on the backbone of this theme for a while and decided to take a different approach.
