Wordless Wednesday - That’s So Raven

Raven the dog

Ready to play…

Raven again

All done! The kids wore her out.

Meet Raven, our latest addition to the family zoo. She is an 18 month old black Lab that was rescued. Too cute.

OH. MY. GOSH. She is just adorable!!! That is just how my Ryder looks when she’s pooped from all the playing! Congrats on your new family addition! She is beautiful!

How is she getting along with Kodi?

She is so pretty and looks like she had lots of fun. Between you and Gayla, ya’ll are going to make me head to the pound. I haven’t had a dog since I left my parents house. :(

Happy WW!

Amy - thanks for stopping in.

Villager - yep, all tired out seems to be a universal pose.

Jane - I knew you would want to see these. Raven gets along just fine with Kodi, but prefers the kids as playmates.

Homemom3 - We are a bad influence in this department. I hope our family zoo is complete for now.

We have a “zoo” here too! Love the first picture.

Happy WW!

Cute!

Just wait until you buy another black lab as a companion to Raven. With our oldest lab being 11 now, I don’t know what our 8 year old lab will do when “the time comes” for the oldest.

She´s so beautiful! And as black as Midnight ;)
My parents in law will get their puppy Lab next Friday. Vela is very excited.

  Char wrote @ June 27th, 2007 at 11:36 am

Steve - we already have companions for her - one Ridgeback, two cats, a rabbit and a pond of goldfish.

Jenn, Lori & Miles to go - thanks for stopping in today. I think I need to add Mr. Linky to my page!

Gayla - I knew you would love her!

  Char wrote @ June 27th, 2007 at 11:37 am

Ingo - you are right - she is just as black as the rabbit - Midnight - I noticed that yesterday. Vela will love the puppy.

Raven looks very happy to have a new home. Such a beautiful, shiny, coat.

OOOOH I love labs! They can be rough when they’re in that “I am a huge, one zillion pound dog but I still think I’m a puppy” stage! My nextdoor neighbors had a black lab puppy and every day as I was trying to leave for work, she would see me, jump over the fence, barrel towards me, and run into my house! Then run around like a maniac until I bribed her out with treats… and then run down the street with me chasing after her yelling, :”Come back, Maddie, come ba-a-a-a-ack!”
You gotta love ‘em,though!

I found your blog at the MomGadget forum. We also have a black lab. She has been the most awesome dog! She is also 13 1/2 yrs old and her spirit is so strong! I love her so much. Well, I just wanted to say hello. :)
